Susi visited Queen Margaret University’s Greek collaborative partner in Piraeus and Thessaloniki campuses. A total of 85 participants from subject specialisms as diverse as journalism, speech and language, business, media, physiotherapy and occupational therapy attended the six workshops on:

  • using technology for blended learning and teaching
  • critical thinking and reflection
  • using online discussions to enrich students’ face-to-face learning experiences.

Susi particularly valued the interactivity, enthusiasm and engagement of colleagues in Metropolitan College and their positive evaluation of her sessions. During her visit, Susi also met with her students who are following our ePGCert in Professional and Higher Education.

As always it was an honour to visit QMU’s collaborative partner especially at this time as they are expanding and gaining confidence as reflected in their new campus at Piraeus. Susi particularly enjoyed visiting the Bridge – the simulation of a ship’s bridge – at the Piraeus Campus.
